You're welcome to read, enjoy and share links to anything here for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't republish our articles wholesale, misrepresent their authorship, or use the site in any unlawful way. The site is provided free of charge and "as is": we may change, suspend or remove content at any time and give no warranties about availability or completeness.
Our features and interviews are contributed by, or written together with, the founders and artists themselves, in their own words. Figures, statistics and claims about ventures (user numbers, revenue, prizes, partnerships and the like) are those of the contributors. We review submissions in good faith, but we cannot independently verify every number and accept no responsibility for their accuracy. Opinions expressed in interviews belong to the people interviewed, not to eureqa!. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or other professional advice.
Articles and the design of this site belong to eureqa! and their respective authors. Cover art belongs to the credited artists. Startup and university names and logos belong to their owners and appear for identification only. If you'd like to reuse something beyond quoting with credit, just ask us first.
We link to external sites (like featured ventures or social channels). Those sites are not ours, and we're not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site and its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
The controller for any personal data handled through eureqa! is Leonard Anton Ulrich, 99 Charlotte St., London W1T 4QB, leonardanton.ulrich@gmail.com, running the project together with Lauren Manby.
Just the email address (and name, if you choose to give one) you provide when you subscribe to the newsletter. This website needs no account, sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics.
Solely to send you the monthly eureqa! edition and occasional eureqa! updates, such as event announcements, so exactly what you signed up for and nothing else. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us.
Nobody, for their own purposes — we do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties. Our newsletter is delivered through our email platform (beehiiv), which stores and processes subscriber addresses on our behalf as a processor. When this site loads fonts (Google Fonts) or edition images from our content host, your browser requests those files directly, so those providers receive your IP address as part of serving them.
For as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, you're removed from the mailing list; if the project ever winds down, the list is deleted.
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and data portability, and you can withdraw consent at any time, just email us.
If anything about how we handle data changes, we'll update this page.
